3 Tips For Enjoying The Holidays At Disney

Posted on: 6 December 2017

The most magical place in the world, Disney, becomes even more magically during the holiday season. Some of the biggest crowds of the season visit Disney during the holiday season due to the magic of the place that time of year. Here are a few tips that will help you make your Disney holiday vacation as enjoyable as possible.

#1 Get Your Reservations In

If you want to enjoy a Disney holiday vacation, you need to make sure that you get your reservations in as soon as possible! Be sure to book your rooms as soon as you can. You also need to make dining reservations when you book your rooms as well. Dining reservations, just like rooms, can get filled up months in advance for some of the more popular dining times and restaurants.

When you make your food reservations, be sure to consult the overall park hours and schedule. You don't want to be eating dinner when the Christmas parade your children want to see is happening, or during the fireworks show that you have been waiting to see. Be sure to schedule your dining reservations around the other events you want to attend while at Disney.

If you can't see to get a reservation within the Disney system, try calling the restaurant directly. Many Disney restaurants keep some seats for call-ins and walk-ins that they don't put into the online system.

#2 Reserve Your FastPass+

You use to have to wait to make FastPass reservations until you were actually inside of the park. Now, you can remotely make FastPass+ reservations before you even get to the park. This is a great way to get in line for your favorite rides and events before you even get to the park.

Sit down with your family and figure out what you really want to do when you are at the park. Then, get online and start making your FastPass+ reservations.

#3 Get To The Park Early

Finally, to get the most out of your Disney vacation, get to the park early before they open. That way, you'll be one of the first visitors through the magic gates. Disney theme parks tend to be the least crowded the first few hours that they are open. Getting their early will allow you to take advantages of short line and will put you on a different time schedule than everyone else who arrives late.

To get the most out of your Disney vacation, make lodging and dining reservations in advance, and be sure to also schedule your FastPass+ reservations as well. Disney parks are crowded during the holiday season, so planning ahead is key to getting the most out of the experience!
